Equity Vs. Equality
Presented by the Lancaster SHRM Diversity Committee, and members of the Social Justice Team – YWCA of Lancaster
We see the “E” in DE&I but what exactly does it mean? And is there a difference between Equity and Equality? Join us for an interactive workshop to delve into the difference between equity and equality, and why we need to focus on equity in the workplace.
– Dr. Lucía C.R. Murphy, also well known as “Doctor Murph,” is the managing principal of The Leadership Architect Group. Operating at the intersection of science and art, her firm designs pathways for inclusive, sustainable leadership that produce results.
– David Nice is an independent consultant in the fields of organization development (OD), HR management, and training. David strives to be a creative and compassionate partner to businesses and organizations – developing leaders and improving teams and people systems.
