About the Speaker

Ashley Burkett Glensor serves as the Programs and Marketing Specialist at the Lancaster Chamber. Ashley develops strategic programming related to workforce development, best business practices, and relationship-building, including networking and mentoring. Prior to joining the Lancaster Chamber, Ashley worked as the Community Impact Manager at YWCA Carlisle, overseeing the department responsible for implementing the organization’s mission-driven programming to eliminate racism and empower women and girls in the community.

Ashley graduated from Messiah University’s (formerly Messiah College) Honors program with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology. Ashley launched her career in non-profit program management with International Justice Mission in Kolkata, India, assisting executive leadership in crafting a strategic plan to enhance the local government’s capacity to combat sex trafficking. Ashley is a 2020 graduate of Leadership Cumberland and a 2019 graduate of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Development Institute. Ashley is currently pursuing her Master of Public Administration with a certificate in nonprofit management through Villanova University. Ashley is a Shaper with the Global Shapers Lancaster Hub, a network of young people driving dialogue, action, and change through the World Economic Forum. She volunteers as the Student Coordinator for International Justice Mission’s Pennsylvania Mobilization Team, coaching undergraduate leaders in Pennsylvania and New York on advocacy efforts within the anti-trafficking movement. She is a member of the Early Career Women Collective, a leadership development community led by a global mentoring network of successful women leaders. Ashley serves on the Board of Directors of SoWe, a resident-led community organization supported by Tenfold and the SoWe Collaborative that works to implement the Southwest Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy.
