The Human Resource Generalist will develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, managing the entire recruitment lifecycle from job postings and candidate sourcing to interviewing and selection. The role will collaborate with hiring managers to align on staffing needs and job requirements, utilizing various recruiting platforms to find qualified candidates and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process. Additionally, the role will serve as a point of contact for associate concerns, mediate conflicts, and facilitate communication between associates and management. Responsibilities will also include assisting in the development of HR policies, conducting onboarding and orientation for new hires, and promoting a positive work culture and associate engagement through various initiatives and programs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Conducts or acquires background checks and associate eligibility verifications.
• Participates in new hire orientation and associate referral programs.
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale.
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, associates, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
• Attends and participates in associate disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the business through exposure to departmental activities.
• Facilitates and communicates organizational policies and programs and ensures labor law and regulatory compliance.
• Promote a positive work environment by partnering with leaders and associates to live out our Mission, Vision, and Values.
• May evaluate, select, and oversee vendors that provide supplemental HR processes and services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
