Our client, has an immediate need for a Human Resources Manager – Benefits. Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, this position is responsible for the administration of all corporate benefits administration and coordinates the employee recruiting process of all salaried and hourly office employees throughout the organization. This position will provide leadership and/or assistance to the Human Resource Generalist and Human Resources Assistant in delivering a variety of human resources, benefits and payroll functions.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages the administration of the medical, dental, sick leave, disability and life plans for both salaried and hourly employees including required government reporting.
Manages the Savings Incentive Plan including eligibility, enrollment, contributions and discrimination testing, government reporting, etc.
Managers the Defined Benefit Program including pension benefit payments, plan contributions, premiums, plan audits and applicable government reporting.
Partners with broker and company leadership to determine best vendor and service provider in each aspect of health and welfare offerings and administration.
Ensures company compliance with benefit related rules and regulations to include provisions of ERISA, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and reporting requirements.
Manages the recruitment effort for all salaried and field office hourly workers.
Manages the trainee recruitment process including maintaining relationships with relevant technical and college placement offices.
Manages the administration of the regular employee engagement survey.
Manages the company owned vehicle program including new vehicle selection.
Manages the service award program for salaried and hourly employees.


Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
7-10 years of human resources experience.
3-5 years’ benefit plan design and administration experience.
Understanding of hiring and recruiting practices is preferred.
PHR and CEBS professional designation is preferred.
Proven experience with benefit systems.
Experience negotiating benefit contracts and working with vendors.
Proficient with MS office products.
