Barley Snyder, a law firm of more than 120 attorneys has an excellent opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator who will work primarily in our Lancaster office.  This position is a key member of HR team and will help support the HR department’s initiatives and programs.  Individual will be responsible for assisting with recruitment, HR administrative tasks, actively participating in our health and wellness committee, assisting in the planning and coordinating of firm and employee events, providing HRIS support to hourly employees and serving as payroll backup.  This will also require frequent travel to other office locations.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Professional or any appropriate combination of education and experience. General knowledge and understanding of payroll, benefit administration and employment laws. Advanced technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook, and capability to learn industry-specific software programs (HRIS and performance management systems). Superior verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain complete discretion as it pertains to firm and client information.
