Chapter Breakfast Meetings:
Join us every 2nd Tuesday (typically excluding April, August, and September) from 7:30 am to 9 am for our monthly learning programs. Hosted by the Professional Development Committee and, new for 2026, held at the Casa Di Fiori at the Inn at Leola (38 Deborah Dr, Leola, PA 17540), these programs are usually eligible for SHRM and HRCI continuing education credits.

Conferences:
Hosted twice a year at the IU-13 Training Center, join over 150 attendees for a full day of HR content. Conferences are eligible SHRM and HRCI continuing education credits. The Spring Professional Development conference is typically held in April, and focuses on various HR hot topics and areas of interest; past themes have included culture building, everyday HR, leadership development, and communication skill building. The Fall Legal Update conference is typically held in September or October, and centers on employment law and compliance updates.

Certification Prep Classes:
Our Professional Development Committee hosts two certification prep series each year. Spring classes cover the HRCI credentials, and fall classes cover the SHRM credentials. They typically last 13 weeks, occur in the evenings from 6 pm to 9 pm, and are held in-person at the Workforce Development Board Conference Room (1046 Manheim Pike). WorkWise: HR Essentials (Formerly HR 101 Series):
Hosted by the Government Affairs Committee, this 6-block series follows the “life of an employee” and rotates every 1.5 years. Join us at the Workforce Development Board (1046 Manheim Pike) from 12 pm to 1:15 pm, whether you’re an emerging HR professional or need a little refresh on the basics of HR.

The HR Pulse - Virtual Brief (Formerly Virtual Lunch & Learn):
Log in virtually from 12 pm to 1:15 pm for a facilitated discussion highlighting current policies. Hosted by the Government Affairs Committee virtually, this series keeps HR professionals informed on legal updates and in compliance.
