Penn Manor School District is seeking a dynamic individual to lead all aspects of the district human resources department. The Human Resources Director will develop, direct, and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall mission and vision of the school district. This role requires a high degree of interpersonal and communications ability, customer service orientation, and proactive problem solving in a complex and confidential education environment.
Penn Manor School District serves 5600 students and approximately 800 full-time, part-time staff, and contracted personnel. This full time position reports to the Chief Financial Officer at the Penn Manor District Office, 100 East Cottage Avenue in Millersville Pennsylvania. Salary is negotiable based upon experience.
Requirements
- Experience in a human resource leadership role is required
- Master’s degree in human resources or equivalent experience is required
- Knowledge of school code, employment law, PDE certification regulations, and education contract negotiations and interpretations is preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with regulations and emerging practices in education and human resources is preferred
