Program Topic: Neuroscience Hacks for HR with Tricia Steege
With change come lots of threat and uncertainty. Our brains are basically created to function as “protector” from threat, those leading change realize better adoption successes when aspects of how the brain perceives and processes change are taken addressed when implementing significant change. The latest evidence-based neuroscience research will be shared and specific tactical actions leaders can take to help their move their organization to fully embracing change.
Today’s HR leaders are frequently called on to help get their organization’s employees to embrace a major change – particularly one that is not welcomed. Understanding how to implement key neuroscience facts about change not only helps speed up adoption but helps build one’s confidence in leading the change.
Learning Objections:
1) Describe how implementing neuroscience concepts/activities facilitate change learning and adoption
2) Educate their leadership clients how neuroscience perspectives on change and understanding of people will help build confidence in their ability to lead others through change
3) Tell others how implementing change neuroscience concepts drive best practices throughout the Bok/BoCK
