Event Name: Why Culture Matters to EVERY Generation: CEO Panel on the Why’s and How’s of Building Culture
At first glance, today’s workforce seems quite diverse. From gender to generation, a lot has been written about the differences between co-workers. If you’ve ever wondered how to engage your Boomers while making sure your Gen Xers don’t feel left out and your Millennials have their needs met, then you won’t want to miss this terrific event hosted by your own LSHRM Workforce Readiness Committee. In the first hour, we will hightlight the differences–and more importantly–the similarities between the three generations in today’s workplace. Then you will have the privilege of hearing from a panel of local company leaders who will discuss the importance of cultivating an effective culture in companies where a “Google-like environment” isn’t an option. You’ll leave this session with ideas that you can easily apply in your company whether you are an IT business or a manufacturer. Stay tuned for more information and, in the meantime…save the date and invite your CEO!
