Program Overview
Demographic changes have turned the standard definition of retirement upside down. We are living in unprecedented times. More than 76 million Baby Boomers are on the verge of retirement, and estimates show that for the next twenty years approximately 10,000 people a day will retire! But the real story is that these retirees are younger, healthier, and will live longer than retirees in the past. Many people will spend as many years in retirement as they did in their primary careers. With more time and opportunities, many retirees are phasing in and out of work, taking part-time, seasonal or consulting jobs or acting as entrepreneurs.  This presentation will introduce and review the importance of the six life arenas in this transition time – Career and Work; Health and Wellness; Finances and Insurance; Family and Relationships; Leisure and Social; and Personal Development.
