Immigration. It’s all over the news. But what do we really know about it? Join us as we present “The Many Faces of Immigration”. We will explore the various areas of immigration including hiring and onboarding and the opportunities and challenges HR and businesses face, as well as the legalities of immigration in the workplace. We will hear the stories of two immigrants and their journeys through the system along with the struggles they have encountered along the way. And finally we will learn about community groups and the resources available to guide us through the immigrant maze.  Heather Valudes, Advocacy Director of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will moderate a varied panel of speakers for this educational and enlightening program.
